Information Regarding Refund of Canceled
Event/Fundraiser from Spring:
If you submitted funds for the canceled See’s Candy Fundraiser and/or
paid for the canceled Mother-Son event in March, please read the
following information:
Some of you may have received back See’s Candy Fundraiser funds
already. We are currently working on returning the See’s Candy funds
back to our virtual school students. Please email us at
[email protected] if you have not received back your See’s
Candy money along with your school materials the week of August 10th.
We will handle refunds of the canceled Mother-Son event in September,
as we have to generate a separate list of students who are in virtual
school. Since checks need to be issued to individual families to handle
the refunds, it will take us some time to get it all prepared.
If you prefer
to donate the fund to the PTA’s general fund instead of getting a refund,
it will help us greatly if you can email us by September 10th at
[email protected] with your full name and child’s name with
your request to donate the refund to the PTA’s general fund. If we do
not hear from you, we will assume that you choose to receive the refund
and will prepare a refund check. We are determining what would be the
safest way to relay the refund checks back to families without
overloading the school office, so we will let you know in a couple of
weeks when and how the checks could be picked up.
Please understand that PTA officers are all volunteers handling PTA
work without any compensation.
