Do you love to do art? You should consider submitting an original piece of art to the Festival of the Arts! The Festival of the Arts is Corona Norco School District's Art Festival showcasing the best art produced by students TK-12. It is being held at Corona City Center on Saturday April 27th. Mrs. Rios & Mrs. Rogers will be choosing the best 30 pieces of art from Susan B. Anthony to submit to the festival.
Some guidelines:
• It must be work done by you (the student) and no one else.
• The artwork should be something you created on your own (not an Art Stars piece).
• There is no theme, however, subject matter must be acceptable for public viewing.
• Maximum of one art piece per student.
• It can be any medium including paint, photography, drawings, oil pastels, chalk pastels, watercolors, tempera paint, etc.
• It can be 3-dimensional: clay, legos, paper sculpture, etc.
• Individual student work may not exceed 9 x 12” (inches).
• Artwork must be labeled on the back with student name, grade level, teacher's name, and school’s name.
Please turn in your art piece to your teacher.
Artwork due by Friday, March 29th.
